1st Workshop on the Digital Vectorization of Historical Seismograms

Dear Participant,
You have been accepted to attend the workshop. Please do confirm the participation at your earliest convenience by sending an e-mail to teseo@ingv.it or directly to michelini@ingv.it

This circular is intended to provide more detail on travel and accomodation that INGV will provide in Grottaminarda.

Travel: On September 20, at 3 p.m. there will be a number of cars and small vans that will take the participants from Rome (INGV main headquartes in via di Vigna Murata, 605) to Grottaminarda. Arrival is expcted at around 6 p.m. For the return trip, the same vans and cars will leave Grottaminarda in the morning of September 23rd. Arrival in Rome is expected at around 1 p.m.

Accomodation: INGV has arranged the overnight stay in a few ?agriturismo? (i.e., farm holiday). These are all small places that have only a small number of rooms available. For this reason we kindly ask the participants to share their room with another colleague. The organizing committee will allocate the rooms privileging nationality and sex.

Teseo software: During the workshop, the developers of the Teseo s/ w will provide the latest version of the code that runs on Linux, Mac OSX and Windows XP.

Lap top computers: As anticipated, participants are expected to bring their own lap top. During the workshop, the organizing committee will take care of installing the so Software will be for all platforms.
